Started in 1954 by a group of restaurants, it is the first association uniting the top restaurants in Paris to promote a new art of living. In 1957, it expanded to cover the rest of France. Now covering more than 20 countries over 4 continents, Traditions & Qualité is one of the most prestigious culinary associations. The name “Grand Table of the World” was later added to this association.
To earn this prestige reputation, a set of extremely rigorous criteria is followed in selecting new members. There are currently four restaurants in United Kingdom and five in New York City that have been selected as a member of this prestigious association:
