Born in Hong Kong, a city of diverse food culture, Kevin has developed his interest in food when he was a child. The fine dining scene in Europe was an eye-opener which inspired Kevin to develop a career that he was long passionate for. It was at that time when Kevin became obsessed with fine dining and often travelled across the world just for a restaurant visit. By capturing photos and documenting every dish in every acclaimed restaurant in the world, Kevin’s website provides a unique insight into the world of fine dining. He had featured in the Food & Drink section of The Guardian (British national daily newspaper), Forbes India (American business magazine), The New Yorker (a weekly American cultural life magazine), Waraku (a Tokyo based lifestyle magazine), and The Sunday Times magazine.   Refer to publications HERE.

From 2008 to 2012, Kevin contributed many articles on the World’s 50 Best Restaurants, and in 2012, he became the first person to visit to all of The World’s 50 Best Restaurants which spanned across more than 20 countries. In 2014, Kevin became the local expert of XtremeFoodies TV responsible for restaurants in the Hong Kong region. Recently, Kevin became a panel member of The Black Pearl Restaurant Guide, an annual fine dining guide for Chinese gourmands on world’s top restaurants.

After living in three continents and traveled to more than 100 countries, Kevin has dined in most of the Michelin 3-starred restaurants in the world. Drawing upon his experience, Kevin offers a worldwide perspective on fine food. His book titled 奢华餐影全球行 – Fine Dining Explorer, with forewords written by some of world’s best chefs, is thought to be among the first in China to describe personal experiences of fine dining around the globe and has been widely used as a culinary reference book for chefs in many top hotels in China.
